Membership - Sub Committees Attendance This
committee shall devise means for encouraging attendance at
all Rotary meetings - including attendance at district conferences,
intercity meetings, regional conferences, and international
conventions by all club members. This committee shall especially
encourage attendance at regular meetings of this club and
attendance at regular meetings of other clubs when unable
to attend meetings of this club; keep all members informed
on attendance requirements; promote better incentives for
good attendance; recommend activities for make ups; and seek to ascertain and remove the conditions
that contribute to unsatisfactory attendance. This committee also reviews attendance records (1) to identify Rotarians not meeting minimum attendance requirements and actions that need to be taken and (2) making arrangements for recognition for perfect attendance.
Care & Concern
This committee insures dissemination of information about members and their families that have care and concern situations that others should be made aware of.
Eligibility/Classification
This
committee (1) reviews all proposals for membership to determine that the proposed meets requirements for Rotary membership and assigns a classification to proposed members; (2) reviews and recommends changes to existing members classifications when warranted; and (3) provides counsel to the board
on all eligibility and classification issues.
Fellowship This
committee shall promote acquaintance and friendship among
the members, promote participation by members in organized
Rotary recreational and social activities, and do such work
in pursuance of the general object of the club as may be
assigned by the president or the board.
Mentoring
This club assigns mentors for new members and oversees the orientation of new members
during their first year in the club.
Recruiting
This committee develops and implements plans for recruiting new members.
Rotary Information This
committee shall inform prospective members about the privileges
and responsibilities of Rotary club membership; develops and implements plans to educate/train club members on all aspects of Roatary throughout their membership in the club; and keeps members
informed about the history, object, and new activities of Rotary
at all levels.
Young Adults/Professionals
This committee is responsible for developing and implementing plans for recruiting, integrating, and retaining young adults and professionals as Rotarians in this club.
Dues
This committee follows up on necessary collection efforts for Rotarians in arrears on their dues payments. |
